REPAIR
From routine tune-ups to wheel rebuilding (even wheelchair repair), the technicians at Joe Fix Its are trained to give your bike the care and attention it deserves. Just bring us your problem and in a few short days (usually 1-3 days) we'll give you the solution. Click here for some Do-It-Yourself repair tips, including how to fix a flat tire. During the winter months Joe Fix Its also offers monthly repair classes! In each class, mechanic Steve Parks teaches basic bike repair in sessions usually lasting 1/2 hour to 1 hour. PROFESSIONAL FITTING
All road bikes purchased at Joe Fix Its are custom-fitted using state of the art fitting tools. A graduate of Fit, Giant, Specialized Basic and Specialized Masters Fit Programs, owner Brian personally fits all road bikes. Brian has also ridden with and been personally instructed by Andy Pruitt, the director of Colorado's Boulder Center for Sports Medicine and todays top authority on cycling fit and injury. For questions or to make an appointment, please call us or email info@joefixits.com. Fittings are also available by appointment before and after store hours.
WOMEN'S-SPECIFIC BIKES
Women make up 46% of cyclists today. If you're a woman looking to make it 46.1%, Joe Fix Its stocks a full selection of women's-specific road and mountain bikes to choose from. A few of the differences you'll find with women's bikes are a shorter wheelbase to accommodate shorter torsos and for more stability at lower speeds, different (and usually more comfortable) handlebars and seats, and more lady-like colors and graphics.
FAMILY-OWNED BY THREE GENERATIONS OF RIDERS
Joe Fix Its has been closely held by the Dunlevy family since it began in 1946 -- and has now seen three generations of participation. Owner Brian, an avid cyclist, rides between 3,000 and 4,000 miles each year.
